Danh Truong, MD

Assistant Professor

Danh Truong, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medical Imaging in the Abdominal Radiology Division. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Truong completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Arizona – Banner University Medicine. During his fourth year, Dr. Truong was a recipient of the M. Paul Capp Research Award.

After completing his Residency, Dr. Truong elected to advance his specialization by completing a Fellowship in Abdominal Radiology at the University of Arizona – Banner University Medical Center.

With very limited free time, Dr. Truong aims to continue his monthly volunteer work as a counselor and mentor with the Nhat Tam Vietnamese Youth Group Association.
