Daniel E. Quintero, DO

Dr. Quintero is a Tucson native who was born and raised in the Sonoran Desert. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, hiking and camping — especially when it means spotting desert wildlife along the way. Some of his favorite local places to explore are Mt. Lemmon and Lake Patagonia. Recently, he’s taken up gardening and finds joy in watching his plants grow and bloom.
Though deeply rooted in Tucson, Dr. Quintero loves to travel and learn about new places. Whether it’s a road trip, backpacking adventure, overseas trip or a visit to a nearby town, he enjoys learning about local culture and history and how people live in their day-to-day lives. When visiting a new place, he makes sure to see at least one museum and always adds a postcard to his collection. He’s passionate about health equity and culturally informed care, and he especially values working with underserved populations, including Spanish-speaking Latino communities.
