Deborah Fuchs, MD
Professor, Pathology (Educator Scholar Track)
              Program Director of the Hematopathology Fellowship
          
Dr. Fuchs is a diagnostic hematopathologist and director of the Coagulation Laboratory at Banner University Medical Center, Tucson. In addition to teaching pathology residents and directing the Hematopathology Fellowship, she plays a major role in medical student education. She is the discipline director of pathology for the pre-clerkship curriculum at the UA College of Medicine and lectures on numerous general and systemic pathology topics including neoplasia, diseases of hemostasis and thrombosis, and hematolymphoid neoplasms. Dr. Fuchs is an award-winning educator as recognized by both medical students and pathology residents.
Outside of work, Dr. Fuchs enjoys travelling, hiking, biking, and backpacking.
