Dr. Tyler-Kabara is fellowship-trained in pediatric neurosurgery and completed advanced training at premier institutions, equipping her with specialized expertise in the care of complex neurological conditions in children. Dr. Tyler-Kabara’s clinical focus includes pediatric brain and spinal tumors, epilepsy surgery, pediatric movement disorders, hydrocephalus and congenital disorders of the nervous system. She is widely recognized for her patient-centered approach, emphasizing multidisciplinary care and family engagement to optimize outcomes for children facing serious neurological illness.
In her research laboratory, Dr. Tyler-Kabara is dedicated to advancing the understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders and improving neurosurgical technologies. Her work spans translational and clinical research, including innovation in neuromodulation, neuroengineering and surgical techniques designed to enhance safety and efficacy in pediatric populations. She has been continuously funded and has contributed extensively to scientific literature, authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
