Elle Ross, DO, PhD, MS
Dr. Ross is a board certified internal medicine physician, who began her professional career in university education policy development after graduating from Colorado State University before transitioning to her second career in medicine.
She joined Arizona Community Physician's Tucson Internal Medicine Group in March 2018. Prior to ACP, she practiced at Banner University Medical Center Tucson as assistant professor and clinical attending physician in general internal medicine in the Division of Geriatrics, General Internal Medicine and Palliative Medicine. In addition to this position, Dr. Ross also worked on the Treatment, Research, and Education of Adipose Tissue (TREAT) Program and clinic, through the Division of Endocrinology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson.
She completed her internal medicine residency at Midwestern University | Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) in Glendale, Ariz., and completed her medical school in Colorado, graduating from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colo. Dr. Ross spent an additional year during medical school in translational research at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus | Division of Medical Oncology with William A. Robinson, MD, PhD, in the Robinson Research Laboratory. Prior to medical school, she completed a master's degree in biomedicine with a dual concentration in human medicine and neuroscience at Colorado State University. Additionally, she earned a doctorate in educational leadership and human resources from Colorado State University in 2000.
