What are your personal interests and hobbies? Musical theater, country music (especially live music), singing, traveling, binge watching TV shows and bringing home random animals.

What are your professional interests? Critical care, EMS, global health.

Why did you choose U of A emergency medicine? First and foremost, I felt so welcomed and accepted by all of the residents and attendings I met during my interview day and second look; I immediately felt at home. I was also drawn by the incredible diversity of pathology, patient and resident backgrounds, and the clinical environments in which we get to train.

What is your favorite activity in Tucson or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? Over 300 days a year of sunshine.

What are your nonmedical goals during residency? Make amazing friends, explore Arizona and the surrounding areas, and maybe find some new warm-weather hobbies.
