What are your personal interests/hobbies? Hunting, Fishing, MMA

What are your professional interests? Critical care, flight medicine as well as military medicine

Why did you choose U of A emergency medicine? I really resonated with the family/community feel the program has, as well as the strong ultrasound curriculum. I am also excited to be one of first few residents to go through as part of the Air Force partnership because I get to lay some of the groundwork to solidify it. 

What is your favorite activity in Tucson or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? I am a big outdoorsman, so being in the Southwest allows me to be a short distance from a lot of different outdoor activities. Also, I look forward to being closer to family in Southern California.

What are your nonmedical goals during residency? Get more into mixed martial arts, as well as work on some long-range marksmanship skills.
