Where are you from? Santa Fe, New Mexico

What are your personal interests/hobbies? I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, camping, painting, pickleball and playing board/card games. 

What are your professional interests? Rural medicine and ultrasound.

Why did you choose our program? I chose U of A South Campus Emergency Medicine for several reasons. The program faculty seemed to genuinely care about the well-being of residents. I loved that I would be given the opportunity to learn medical Spanish. Finally, the ability to do a rural health track spoke to my professional interests and goal of caring for underserved populations.

What is your favorite activity in Tucson or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? Warm weather, plenty of outdoor activities, and I have several family and friends in Tucson.

What are your nonmedical goals during residency? My nonmedical goals are to be happy and healthy, explore the outdoors and keep my houseplants alive.
