Dr. Johnson grew up in Mesa, Arizona, with a large family. She became interested in psychiatry while completing her undergraduate degree and resolved to pursue medicine and research to better understand the mind. When not engrossed in medical work or baking at her family’s bakery, she hikes, reads about fantastical characters and worlds, watches movies, rock climbs, runs, and generally enjoys laughing with family and friends.
