Dr. Meislin is an internationally renowned emergency medicine specialist, having served as director of the emergency medicine residency program at the University of Chicago and UCLA. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He has lectured and taught nationally and internationally in over 20 countries.
He was the inaugural chair for the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, the founding director of the Arizona Emergency Medicine Research Center of Excellence, a past president of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a past president and CEO of the American Board of Medical Specialties.
