Holly Thompson, MD, MPH

Associate Professor, Medical Imaging

Dr. Thompson’s passion for medicine stems from an insatiable desire to diagnose and treat diseases that cause human suffering. She is an active member of several medical societies. With a background as a cell and molecular biologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Vitra Bioscience, she is deeply inspired by the transformative potential of molecular imaging and Theranostics in improving patient outcomes. Dr. Thompson seamlessly blends her scientific expertise with excellent communication and teaching skills, bringing warmth, compassion, and a collaborative spirit to her interactions with both colleagues and patients.

Outside of work Dr. Thompson enjoys traveling, community service, hiking and outdoor recreation.
