Why did you choose U of A Family Medicine?

I chose U of A Family Medicine because of its deep commitment to underserved communities and its mission to train culturally competent physicians. This program offers a unique blend of academic and community-based medicine within a supportive and inclusive environment. I was drawn to its strengths in rural health, integrative medicine and caring for diverse populations. The U of A’s values and training opportunities align perfectly with my goal to serve where I’m most needed.

What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?

Exploring the city, warm weather, the people, good food

What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine?

Any sports activity like basketball and pickleball, being outdoors, hiking, running and watching movies

What are your professional interests within medicine?

Sports medicine, preventative medicine, procedures, working with underserved populations

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?

Exploring a new place and finding a good spot to eat

What is the top item on your bucket list?

Dunking a basketball
