My Journey with the BSM Program
I started my undergraduate studies as a biology: biomedical sciences major. However, I made the decision to switch to the new BSM major when I heard about it my junior year. I made this switch because the major offered me a more practice-focused approach to medicine while also allowing me to explore the diversity of medicine through the elective courses. This major has helped me learn so much about the field of medicine that I never knew to be so important. The countless opportunities and support that my professors, advisers and peers have provided during my time in this program have proven that it was the right decision for me to switch!
Academic and Career Goals
I am currently focused on completing my undergraduate degree in medicine with the hopes of becoming a certified physician assistant. I plan on taking one gap year to gain more hands-on medical experience and learn more about the role of a physician assistant. During this year, I plan on shadowing physician assistants in as many specialties as possible, volunteering with local organizations and building my PA school applications. I am excited to continue my education and keep moving toward my career goal of one day becoming a PA-C.

Ask Me About
The countless opportunities and resources available on our campus! The University of Arizona and the surrounding community have so much to offer but I know it can sometimes be a bit overwhelming to navigate. I have become familiar with so many of these resources, some such as SI sessions, local volunteering and countless clubs, and I would love to help new students learn more about them too!
