Juan J. Chipollini, MD, FACS

Associate Professor, Urology

Dr. Chipollini is a urologic oncologist and highly active researcher. He has presented at multiple national meetings and authored many book chapters and peer-reviewed publications, and serves on the American Urological Association Core Curriculum update on penile neoplasms.

He has extensive experience with the Da Vinci robotic platform to treat renal, bladder, and prostate malignancies. He also leads in the surgical management of locally-advanced renal cell carcinoma and urologic cancers involving the retroperitoneum. He has an active surgical practice as the only university-based academic urologic oncologist in the state Arizona, and is principal investigator in several clinical trials at the NCI-designated University of Arizona Cancer Center. Dr. Chippolini is fluent in Spanish, and in his free time, he enjoys traveling and participating in medical missions.
