I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in the small town of Gig Harbor, Washington. I later attended UCLA, where I majored in Classics before pursuing my medical education in Vermont at the Larner College of Medicine. Outside of medicine, you'll usually find me running, hiking, or skiing. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest and then living in Vermont for medical school meant I spent a lot of my free time exploring the outdoors! I also enjoy reading, particularly historical fiction, and given my background in Classics, I am fascinated by ancient civilizations. I never pass up an opportunity to visit a history museum! I am thrilled to be returning to the West to begin residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, and to discover the sunny, unique landscapes of Tucson and the Southwest. The genuine warmth and enthusiasm of the residents and faculty I met during the interview process made me especially excited about the U of A College of Medicine – Tucson, and I look forward to training alongside such supportive colleagues.
