Kenneth Alan Fox, MD

Dr. Fox, a clinical associate professor with the University of Arizona Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, comes to Tucson from Austin, Texas, where he ran a successful private practice for 15 years. He also served as medical director of the Children’s Regional Heart Program at the Children’s Hospital of Austin and the Dell Children’s Medical Center, also based in Austin.

Dr. Fox earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. He then completed a thoracic surgery residency at the University of Michigan and a pediatric cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan.

He is board certified in surgery, thoracic surgery and congenital heart surgery.
