Kyle Goble, MD

Resident
Pediatrics - PGY-2

Where are you from? Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Why did you choose the College of Medicine – Tucson Pediatrics Residency Program? The desert Southwest is home, and so is the University of Arizona. I had a feeling I’d find home again at our program, and I did.

What are your current professional interests and career goals? I’m leaning toward pediatric hospital medicine, but I’m also flirting with hematology/oncology and neonatology.

What are your personal interests and hobbies? I have two cats; I play video games; I like to oil paint. I’m a big live music and theater fan too when I have time. Mostly you’ll find me on days off sitting at home enjoying peace and quiet.

What is your favorite thing about Tucson? I’ve always loved Tucson’s vibe. We have a unique mash-up of cultures, and the town is easy to live in and navigate. We have both a city feel and a more low-key small-town feel.

What are your non-medical goals during residency? I want to continue learning to take as good of care as myself as I do my patients (a struggle).
