Where are you from? California

What are your personal interests/hobbies? My preschooler picks most of my hobbies, mostly hiking and kayaking at a very slow pace. When I can, I love to sport climb outdoors, read under a pile of blankets or make a mess of my kitchen feeding friends for late afternoon meals.

What are your professional interests? Rural medicine and pediatric advocacy.

Why did you choose U of A emergency medicine? Fellows to learn advanced skills from, unique range of pathology to treat and good people to work with.

What is your favorite activity in Tucson or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? Eating. The food is fantastic and fuss-free. Wandering around Mount Lemmon is a close second.

What are your nonmedical goals during residency? Walk my dog more days than not, see my kid send a full route outdoors and cook a meal that makes my partner’s jaw drop.
