Lindsay Kadell, DO

Resident, University Campus: PGY-2

Where are you from? Meridian, Idaho

What are your personal interests/hobbies? I love snowboarding with my husband and dad, and I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, biking or rollerblading. I also enjoy drawing, doing makeup, traveling and spending time with my dog.

What are your professional interests? Medical education, ultrasound, pediatrics and critical care.

Why did you choose our program? U of A emergency medicine offers a great mix of academic and community medicine during every EM block, which was exactly what I was looking for in a program. But what really sold me was that every single person I met during my interview — including several residents — just seemed genuinely happy to be here.

What is your favorite activity in Tucson or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? I’m excited about the warm weather in Tucson and the wide range of outdoor activities it offers.

What are your nonmedical goals during residency? I want to continue enjoying time with my husband and family while also making space for my hobbies. I hope to snowboard as much as possible and keep traveling whenever I can.
