Why did you choose the College of Medicine – Tucson Pediatrics Residency Program? I wanted to join a combined EM and pediatrics program, and UA was the right fit for me. I love the people within the program, the faculty teaching and mentorship, and all the outdoor activities Tucson offers.

What are your current professional interests and career goals? A mix of adult and pediatric emergency medicine.

What are your personal interests and hobbies? Hiking, snowboarding and taking my 1-year-old to the Desert Museum.

What is your favorite thing about Tucson? Its diversity of activities in and around the city.

What are your non-medical goals during residency? Continue growing my family and my backyard homestead.
