Where are you from? Gilbert, Arizona

What are your personal interests/hobbies? I enjoy spending time with my wife and watching our kids grow up. I like hiking, biking, swimming and riding horses.

What are your professional interests? Community emergency medicine and rural medicine in Arizona. I also want to own a ranch someday.

Why did you choose U of A Emergency Medicine? I love the location, the people in the program and having the resources of a big university in a small residency class.

What is your favorite activity in Tucson, or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? I look forward to speaking Spanish. I’m attracted to the variety of terrain, the recreational activities available and the delicious food.

What are your nonmedical goals during residency? I want to build a garden, landscape my backyard and read a few good books.
