Nicole Schmidt, PhD
Assistant Director, Research and Graduate Studies
Dr. Schmidt supports strategic initiatives that advance research development, trainee success and programmatic excellence across the college’s biomedical and clinical departments. Her work focuses on fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing graduate training environments, and strengthening research infrastructure to promote innovation and impact.
She brings expertise in instructional design, applied learning research and quality assurance, grounded in more than a decade of experience in higher education. As a doctoral student, her research examined digital literacies in second language writing and the design of technology-mediated learning environments.
