Why did you choose U of A family medicine?
I chose U of A family medicine because I was looking for a program with strong clinical training, a supportive environment and a wide variety of patient experiences. I loved how genuinely welcoming everyone was during the interview process, and I could really see myself growing here over the next three years.
What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?
I’m most excited about the sunshine, the desert scenery and getting to explore a completely new city.
What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine?
Outside of medicine, I enjoy staying active, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family. I’m also a big sports fan and love watching games whenever I can.
What are your professional interests within medicine?
My professional interests include full-spectrum family medicine, women’s health, chronic disease management, preventive care and working with underserved communities.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
My perfect day off would start with a morning Pilates class, followed by a slow coffee and some time to unwind. I’d end the day by going out for a nice dinner and then watching a sports game in the evening.
What is the top item on your bucket list?
Seeing Olivia Dean perform at an iconic outdoor venue like Red Rocks. I love the idea of experiencing live music somewhere that feels just as memorable as the artist.
