Where are you from?
I am originally from Ghana and moved to Tucson, Arizona, in December 2022.

Why did you choose U of A family medicine?
I chose U of A family medicine because of its strong commitment to full-spectrum family medicine, a supportive learning environment and a dedication to serving diverse and underserved communities. The faculty and residents made me feel welcomed and supported throughout the interview process.

What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?
I am excited to continue exploring Tucson's beautiful desert landscapes, vibrant culture and family-friendly community while building long-term relationships with patients.

What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine?
I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking Ghanaian dishes, community outreach, traveling and exploring local parks and attractions.

What are your professional interests within medicine?
My professional interests include women's health, obstetrics, preventive medicine, chronic disease management and caring for underserved populations.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
Spending quality time with my family, trying new recipes, attending community events or enjoying a relaxing day outdoors.

What is the top item on your bucket list?
To participate in global health initiatives that improve access to quality health care for underserved communities around the world.
