Peter C. Kowalski, MD

Associate Professor, Psychiatry

Dr. Kowalski grew up in Kansas. After completing his general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship, he served as a staff member at C.F. Menninger Memorial Hospital before moving to Fort Worth, Texas.

In Fort Worth, Dr. Kowalski served as medical director at several facilities and built a busy private practice in psychiatry. He worked full time in his private practice in Fort Worth for 22 years. In 2015, Dr. Kowalski moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, to set up an outpatient psychiatry department at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. In 2018, he returned to Oklahoma City to serve as the chief medical officer at NorthCare Mental Health Center until earlier this year.

Dr. Kowalski enjoys opera, cycling and spending time with his brother, a physician in Sahuarita.
