Where are you from?
I grew up in various places in the Midwest, but mostly in Iowa.

Why did you choose U of A family medicine?
I wanted to continue my medical training in the Southwest at a program with ample resources and support that serves a diverse patient population. As a fourth-year medical student, I completed my Sub-I here, and I knew the program was a good fit for me.

What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?
I want to explore nearby parks and trails, and I want to take advantage of the “winters” in Tucson.

What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine?
I enjoy watching movies, the NBA, college basketball and travel shows.

What are your professional interests within medicine?
I am interested in community medicine, sports medicine and global health.

Favorite way to spend a day off?
Spending time with family and friends.

Top item on your bucket list?
I would like to visit Denali National Park in Alaska.
