What are your personal interests and hobbies? Skiing, traveling, hiking, camping, biking, cooking and taekwondo.
What are your professional interests? Global health, wilderness medicine, product development.
Why did you choose U of A emergency medicine? The great training, easy access to the outdoors and the people and culture.
What is your favorite activity in Tucson or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? Ability to hike, camp, ski, mountain bike all so close.
What are your nonmedical goals during residency? Continue to build my nonprofit, camp as much as I can, spend lots of time with my daughter.
