Rachel D. Munn, DO

Assistant Professor, Emergency Medicine - (Clinical Scholar Track)

Dr. Munn is a Midwesterner by heart, beginning her medical education in Ohio. She then felt the call of the Southwest and moved to New Mexico and then Tucson to begin her career. Dr. Munn works clinically in all three of the Banner University Medical Center emergency departments (Tucson, South and Diamond Children’s), and serves as faculty for the BUMCT EM residency as well as with the EMS fellowship. Since 2020, she has curated an EMT and paramedic recertification program for local agencies and assisted in starting a Physician Emergency Response Vehicle program within the EMS fellowship. Her interests include EMS, of course, as well as resident and prehospital provider education, and wilderness medicine. As having outside interests is imperative, she also enjoys hiking, camping, casual rock climbing (the distinction is important), travel and trying ALL of the restaurants.
