Rashid Sayyid, MD
Dr. Sayyid is a urologic oncologist and grant-funded clinician-scientist. He has authored over 75 peer-reviewed publications and has served as a presenter and moderator at numerous national and international meetings. His research interests include clinical trials for advanced prostate cancer, improving perioperative outcomes following pelvic surgery, and population-based health services research aimed at better defining long-term cancer outcomes.
Dr. Sayyid is dual fellowship trained, with expertise in both robotic and open surgical approaches for the treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, and penile cancers. He values multidisciplinary, team-based care and collaborative academic partnerships. Dr. Sayyid is fluent in Arabic and French, and in his free time enjoys outdoor running, traveling, and attending live sporting events.
