Dr. French serves as a core faculty member in the university campus emergency medicine residency program and works clinically in the emergency departments at the Banner – UMC Tucson and South campuses. His responsibilities also include shifts with Physician-1, the EMS physician field response program. He also provides medical toxicology consultation services through the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center.

He is an avid recreational SCUBA diver and particularly enjoys diving along the nearby Baja Peninsula and Revillagigedo Islands (Socorro).
