Where are you from?     

I am from India.

Why did you choose U of A family medicine?    

Strong clinical training, supportive environment, diverse patient population. I felt it would be a great place to grow into a well-rounded physician while serving the community.

What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?  

I am very excited about the beautiful scenery, sunsets and overall calmer lifestyle. I am also looking forward to exploring the food scene and hiking spots.

What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine? 

Singing, art, dancing, gardening  

What are your professional interests within medicine?     

I want to care for underserved populations. I am drawn to areas in medicine that allow me to have continuity of care and meaningful patient relationships. Also, I enjoy the broad scope and problem-solving aspect of family medicine.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?    

Taking care of my pet, taking care of my plants, spending time with my husband, hiking, watching the sunsets and watching any series on Netflix.

What is the top item on your bucket list? 

Having a meaningful career. I want to be proud of myself while creating a calm, meaningful life outside medicine.
