My Journey with the Bachelor of Science in Medicine Program
My journey through the Bachelor of Science in Medicine Program at the University of Arizona has been transformative, both academically and personally. The program has allowed me to explore my deep interest in medicine, especially in emergency, trauma and critical care. The rigorous coursework, hands-on experiences and supportive professors have solidified my commitment to pursuing a career as a physician. I’ve additionally had the opportunity to immerse myself in various clubs, volunteering and research, all of which have broadened my understanding of healthcare and other disciplines. The interdisciplinary approach of the program has encouraged me to view medicine from different perspectives, enhancing my problem-solving abilities and deepening my passion for health care. The supportive community at the university has been a constant source of inspiration. Whether through late-night study sessions or early-morning classes, the resilience and drive shared by my peers have motivated me to keep pushing forward. This journey has been challenging but rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to grow and contribute to the medical field!
Academic & Career Goals
Becoming a physician with a special focus on emergency medicine, trauma care and critical care, in addition to bringing health care to underserved regions around the world.
Additionally, I have a goal to open a café and bakery that combines my love for creating pastries and drinks with a focus on providing healthy options. I want to infuse my cultural heritage, particularly Levantine and Palestinian flavors, into the menu, offering a unique and nourishing experience that celebrates both tradition and well-being.
