Where are you from?     
Benson, Arizona

Why did you choose U of A family medicine?    
I was born and raised in Southern Arizona, and I love it here. I have been looking forward to serving this community for years. The program also feels so welcoming and encouraging while still preparing residents to serve rural communities well.

What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?    
I am excited to continue building my life in Tucson with family nearby.

What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine?    
Reading and exercise are a few of my hobbies outside of medicine. I love doing zumba or taking spin classes.

What are your professional interests within medicine?     
I am especially interested in women’s health, adolescent medicine, rural health and lifestyle medicine. 

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?    
I love relaxing at home with a good book or watching a movie with my husband or trying out new places to eat in Tucson.

What is the top item on your bucket list? 

I hope to travel all over the world, but my top destination is probably Rome.
