I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas with a degree in Chemical Engineering. While I chose to stay in Arkansas for medical school, I knew I wanted to diversify my training for residency. I chose University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson because of my passion for making healthcare accessible to underserved communities, and this program offers the perfect opportunity to do so in a city with a vibrant Spanish-speaking population.

Outside of the hospital, you’ll typically find me hunting for a good scary movie, baking, sewing, or hanging out with my cat, Atreides. I also enjoy hiking and being outdoors whenever the weather permits—my dream is to visit all of our national parks! Currently, my medical interests lie in heme/onc and palliative medicine.
