Page Permissions

Whenever you create a new page be sure to categorize the page as the section you're working on. If you save the new page without putting the categorization you'll lose access to it.

All Accreditation pages are categorized/tagged with

QS2 Editing - Categorize/Tag your Page with your Department to retain Editing Permissions
And to get a new page to land in the correct place make sure the URL Alias begins with /internal-resources/accreditation/page-title

As shown in picture above:
/internal-resources/accreditation/self-study-and-cqi-overview

Always use the 'X-Out' option to replace/change photos

To avoid changing all default profile pictures on the entire website only replace profile images using the X.

https://medicine.arizona.edu/admin/content/media
Then find the image that has replaced all the other images.
Click 'Edit'.
Goto Revisions:

Revert to last revision.

Profiles that go to External Links

Profile in a directory takes visitors to an NIH page instead of the COM profile.

Solution: A link in the external bio that needs to be moved to Link(s) with the Link Text as Publications. External Bio field is on the right-hand side.

To find profiles with external bio links search for their name in Content -https://medicine.arizona.edu/admin/content

Moderated Content

Please log the changes you've made by briefly describing the changes you have made in this box:

Image
QS2-Log-Revisions-Note-Message

This 'Revision Log Message' is on the right-hand side when you're editing a piece of content. Put a little note/message/description in there and save the content.

Since content is moderated the changes won't be visible to the public. Only after the content is reviewed will the changes be public.

**************
Saving Page as Unpublished doesn't place the page in the moderation queue.

Saving Page for Review does place page in moderation queue.

However, once in the moderation queue a user can access the moderation queue and click the 'edit' button next to a profile, page or event and continue to edit the page - and users can then save the page, profile or event as Unpublished - removing it from the moderation queue.

Profile Feed System/Profile Gateway

Unfortunately,  the old profile feed system isn't available anymore.
The profile feed system was a custom build that the BioCom team developed exclusively for College of Medicine sites.
This system only worked with Drupal 7 sites.

Since the College of Medicine is a now a QS2/Drupal 10 site profile feeds are not yet available and won't be for some time as it is still in development.

This means you can update the profiles on your site anytime they need updating.

If you have updates for profiles or other content on the COM-T please request a content update here:

Or send Anna, Joe or Scott an email.

Sorry for any confusion. The old profile feed system was used by almost every medical department and became a reliable source of updates for many sites over the years. We hope to have a new system in place, until then all profiles must be updated manually. The newest profile information can be found in the UA Phonebook/Directory - https://phonebook.arizona.edu/
